J: Obviously this has been very successful for you; however I am curious to know what made you decide to go into the skin care business?
B: I spent a great deal of time in cooking schools like Le Cordon Blue in America and overseas. I think skin care is just like cooking. For food you add the ingredients based on the taste, color, aroma and texture that you want. For skin care, you add ingredients based on what you want the product to accomplish as well as the addition or lack of color and of course texture or viscosity. Skin care is very similar to cooking.
J: Okay so let’s talk a little about your products. How do they, specifically your cleansers and exfoliants, differ from the better known cleansers, such as Proactive or Neutrogena, or even t high-end department store brand such as Clinique or Lancôme, and why do they work better?
B: My products have no water in them. They are not diluted in any way. We use cold pressed aloe vera for the bases of my exfoliant, Corrective Grains and my cleanser, Facial Shampoo. They bio degrade as they rinse off and do not change the ph of the skin. They are all comprised with a no tears formula to remove even water proof make up from the eyes and skin. They each come in four strengths and may be custom formulated on top of that for each client. The Corrective grains contain no seeds, pits, broken shells or granules which can scratch the surface of the skin. Instead we use micro polyethylene balls to gently exfoliate. This type of exfoliation alone gives a 25% improvement in the color and texture of the skin and makes it look and feel smooth, supple and soft.
